Where to find it
You’ll see the Customize each platform toggle inside the post composer when creating a new post.
Go to the Scheduler
Click New Post
Look for the toggle in the caption section
How it works
You can switch the toggle ON or OFF depending on how you want to post.
When the toggle is OFF
All platforms share the same caption and media
Any edits apply to every selected platform
Best for:
Quick posting
Simple content that works across all platforms
When the toggle is ON
Each platform gets its own caption
You can customize messaging for each platform
You can adjust formatting, tone, and style
You can also use different media per platform if needed
Each platform can also have different media if needed
Best for:
Optimizing performance
Adapting to platform-specific audiences
Customizing captions per platform
When the toggle is ON:
Click through each platform tab
Write or edit the caption for that platform
Repeat for each selected platform
Using “Adapt To Other Platforms”
If you don’t want to rewrite everything manually, you can:
Write one caption
Click Adapt to other platforms
Storyy will automatically adjust the caption for each platform’s style and format.
Using AI with customization
You can also use AI while customizing:
Generate a caption for one platform
Edit captions
Adapt the captions to the other platforms
You can also use Describe to guide how the caption should sound.
Things to keep in mind
Each platform has different best practices (length, tone, hashtags)
Customizing helps improve performance across platforms
Media is shared across platforms by default unless manually changed
When turned OFF, all platforms will share the same caption and media automatically
