Before you start
Make sure you’ve connected at least one social account:
Go to Settings
Click Posting Platforms
Connect your account
How to create a post
Go to the Scheduler
Click New Post/Schedule Publish
Select the platforms you want to post to
Upload your media
Add or generate your caption
Choose how you want to publish
Selecting platforms
At the top of the post composer, you’ll see your connected accounts.
Select the platforms you want to post to
You can post to multiple platforms at once
You can also unselect platforms at any time
Uploading media
You can upload:
Videos
Images
Multiple images (carousel posts)
PDFs (for LinkedIn)
You can upload media from your device or your Storyy library. If you upload multiple images, the post will automatically be treated as a carousel where supported.
Adding your caption
You have a few options:
Write your caption manually
Use AI to generate a caption
Edit and refine the generated caption
Once media is uploaded, Storyy can automatically suggest a caption based on your content.
Using AI to generate captions
After uploading your media:
Storyy analyzes your content
AI also generates titles for platforms like YouTube
Captions are generated based on your brand info + the uploaded media
You can also:
Click Describe to guide the caption
Adjust tone based on your needs
Using Adapt to other platforms
If you’ve written or generated a caption for one platform, you can quickly create versions for the others.
Click Adapt to other platforms
Storyy will rewrite the caption for each platform
This saves time while still keeping content optimized per platform.
Platform-specific settings
Each platform may show different options, such as:
TikTok visibility settings
Instagram collaborators
YouTube title and tags
These will appear automatically based on the platform you select.
Previewing your post
Before publishing, you can:
Review your caption
Check how your post will look
Make final edits
Choosing how to publish
At the top of the post, you can choose:
Schedule → Select a specific day and time for the Scheduler to handle automatic posting
Post now → Publish immediately
Save As Draft → Finish later
Notify me → Get a reminder to post manually
Time zone settings
The Scheduler follows your computer’s time zone by default
You can change the time zone when scheduling a post
Your selected time zone will be saved for future posts
Saving drafts
If you’re not ready to publish:
Click Save as draft
Your post will appear in your drafts list
You can edit and schedule it later
