Why you need to connect your accounts

Connecting your social accounts allows Storyy to:

  • Publish posts automatically

  • Customize content for each platform

  • Pull in analytics and performance data


How to connect a platform

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Posting Platforms

  3. Select the platform you want to connect to the Scheduler

  4. Click Connect Account

  5. Log in and authorize access


Available platforms

You can connect the following platforms:

  • TikTok

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • YouTube (Shorts and long-form)

  • LinkedIn

  • Pinterest

  • X (Twitter)

  • Threads

  • Reddit

  • Snapchat

  • Google Business Profile (Google My Business)

Google Business Profile is especially useful for local visibility. Posting here helps improve your presence in search results and maps.


What happens after I connect my accounts?

Once your accounts are successfully linked, you’re ready to start sharing! Here’s what you can do:

  • Navigate to the Scheduler tab on your homepage.

  • Click on "Schedule Publish" to open the post composer and begin planning your content.

  • Your connected accounts will now appear in the platform selector, allowing you to choose exactly where your content should go with just a few clicks.


Managing your connected accounts

To manage your accounts:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Posting Platforms

From here, you can:

  • Disconnect an account

  • Reconnect an account

  • Update connection settings


Customizing platform settings

The "Describe" tool allows for the personalization of caption generation across all your used platforms. To access this tool, simply click the pencil icon located next to the "Connected" status for each linked platform.

You can:

  • Adjust tone (casual, professional, etc.)

  • Set preferred caption length

  • Define how AI writes for that platform

These settings help ensure your captions match each platform’s style.


Troubleshooting connection issues

If your account doesn’t connect or disconnects:

  1. Go to Settings > Posting Platforms

  2. Click Reconnect on the account

  3. Make sure you:

    • Are logged into the correct account

    • Approve all permissions

If needed, disconnect and connect the account again.
