Facebook can be tricky when it comes to advertisements. When your ad is rejected you will receive an email that directs you to view your "Account Quality" to find the reasons why your ad was rejected.
You are able to do these two things when an ad is rejected:
Edit your ad or create a new one
Request a review of your ad
Edit or create a new ad
You can edit your ad to try to fix the issue. You'll want to ensure that all components of your ad comply with Facebook's Advertising policies, such as the image, video, text, targeting, or landing page. The great thing about editing your ad is you don't lose your previous engagement with the post.
To edit your ad you'll want to follow the following steps:
Go to Ads Manager
This can be found when you go to Facebook settings > More business settings
Select Ads
Check the box next to the ads you want to edit
Select Edit
The side pane where you can edit your ad will open.
Changing the Ad Name
Delete the current name and replace it with a new name by typing it in the text box
Changing the Page
Choose a different page from the dropdown menu. Keep in mind that you cannot change the page when you are concerned about your reach. If the reach is your objective you will want to duplicate the ad set the ad belongs to, change the Page for the ad set and ad, then publish.
Changing image or video
Click edit in the Ad Creative Section, then choose Change Media. Choose a different image or video and select Next. Select Done to save your new media.
To publish the changes you made, select Publish. To save the changes and publish them later, click Close.
Request a Review
If you believe that your ad was adhering to all of Facebook's Advertisement policies, you are able to request a review.
Go to Account Quality
Select your account with the rejected ads
Select the ad, ad sets, or campaigns that you believe were wrongfully rejected
Click Request Review
Select Submit
You are able to track the status of the request in Account Quality.
If Facebook changes its decision on your rejected ad, your ad will automatically start delivering. If it is rejected again, you will not be able to submit another review request for the same ad.
