The Storyy app includes a built-in teleprompter to help you read scripts smoothly while recording your videos. You can use it in two ways:
As a standalone teleprompter (if you’re using an external camera)
To record videos directly in the Storyy app while reading the script
How to Use the Teleprompter
Go to the Ideas Tab
Log in to your Storyy account and navigate to Ideas.
Select a Script
Find the script you want to use for recording and click on it.
Choose How to Use the Teleprompter:
Use Storyy as a Teleprompter Only:
Click the "Teleprompter" option in the upper-right corner.
This will display the script in teleprompter mode while you record using an external camera.
Record Directly in the Storyy App:
Click the "Record This" button.
This will open the in-app camera with the teleprompter overlay so you can record your video while reading the script.

Can I adjust the teleprompter speed?
Yes! Once in teleprompter mode, you can adjust the scrolling speed for a comfortable reading pace. To do this, click the Settings icon in the top right corner of the teleprompter screen.
Can I edit my script before recording?
Yes, you can make edits to your script in the Ideas tab before starting the teleprompter. There’s a small pencil icon in the top right of the teleprompter screen to edit the script.
What if I want to use an external microphone while recording in the app?
The Storyy app will automatically use your device’s default microphone. If you're using an external mic, ensure it is properly connected before recording.
Can I upload my own script?
Yes! You can create and save your scripts in the app by selecting “Create Your Own Idea” when you hit “New Idea” in the Ideas section of the app.
