How do I add a drive link with my files?

If your video files are stored in Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. you can easily add a link to your submission instead of uploading each file.

Adding a Drive Link to a New Project

  1. Start a New Project

    • Go to the Projects tab and click + New Project.

  2. Add Your Drive Link

    • When prompted to upload files, select the "Add Link" option instead.

  3. Enter Your Link(s)

    • Paste your Google Drive, Dropbox, or other file-sharing link.

    • You can add multiple links or just one.

  4. Save Your Link(s)

    • After entering the link(s), click Save to attach them to your project.

  5. Complete the Project Submission

    • Follow the guided steps, then hit Submit to send your project for editing.

Adding a Drive Link to an Existing Draft

If you have a project in drafts and need to add a file-sharing link:

  1. Open the Draft Project

    • Go to Projects and open the draft you want to update.

  2. Go to the Content Section

    • Click the "Add Link" button.

  3. Enter and Save Your Link(s)

    • Paste your link(s) and click Save to attach them to your project.

Important Notes About Drive Links

  • Make sure the link settings allow anyone with the link to view the files.

  • If the editor cannot access your files, it may delay your project.

  1. What if I forgot to adjust the link permissions?

    Update your file-sharing settings to "Anyone with the link can view", then re-submit your link in the project.

  2. Can I add both uploaded files and a Drive link to the same project?

    Yes! You can upload files directly and also include a Drive link if needed.

  3. What types of links are supported?

    Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and other file-sharing services that allow public or viewable links.
