How do I submit revisions?

Need adjustments to your edited video? Follow these steps to submit a revision request through the Storyy app.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. On the Storyy app, go to Projects

  2. Select the project you want to revise

    • Find the project that needs changes and open it.

  3. Click "Request Revision"

    • You can only submit revisions for projects labeled as "Ready for Approval."

    • If your project is "Ready for Approval," you have two options:

      • Approve the project if you're satisfied with the edit.

      • Request revisions if you need changes.

  4. Provide Detailed Feedback for Revisions

    • When requesting a revision, you have two options:

      • General Comment – Use this for overall video adjustments (e.g., background music, color correction, pacing).

      • Timestamp-Specific Fixes – If you want changes at a specific point in the video, select the timestamp option and specify exactly where the fix should be applied.

  5. Submit Your Revision Request

    • Once you've provided all necessary notes, hit Submit to send your request.

    • If we are currently working on another project, your revision will be queued, but rest assured, we’ll complete it within 24-48 hours.

How do I revise a Completed project?

If your project is already marked as Complete but you’ve realized you need additional changes or want to provide new instructions, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Completed Project: Locate the project in your "Completed" list.

  2. Click "Duplicate": This creates a fresh copy of the project with all your existing assets.

  3. Edit the Creative Brief: Update the notes with your new instructions or the specific revisions you need.

  4. Submit: This sends the duplicate project back to our team as a new request so we can get back to work on it!


FAQs

  1. What if my project is not labeled as "Ready for Approval"?

    • Direct revisions can only be requested during the "Ready for Approval" stage. If it is already marked "Complete," please use the Duplicate method mentioned above.

  2. Can I request multiple revisions?

    • Yes! As long as a video hasn’t been marked as “Complete”, you can send it back. For completed videos, simply duplicate the project to start a new edit. We encourage detailed feedback to keep your queue moving quickly!

  3. How long will my revision take?

    • Typically 24-48 hours, depending on the complexity of the request and our current queue.

  4. Where can I check the status of my revision?

    • You can track your project's status in the Projects section of the app.
